My Safety Starts With Me is a movement.  It’s how The Starr Institute envisions young people actively taking ownership of their safety.  We welcome youth to connect, apply the information we give them and share it with their friends and family.  We encourage young people to be a leader in their homes, schools and community.  We foster an environment that is educational and fun.  We are a safe space.  We know teens need to feel a sense of belonging to feel good about who they are, and we love them just as they are!
